Studio Helpers summer program

The CHS Studio Helper Program is our junior CIT full-day summer experience for kids who have shown care, creativity, and maturity in our Preteen Art Club.

Who this is for

CHS artists who will be 11–13 years old this summer

Kids who love art and enjoy helping younger kids

Artists who are ready for light responsibility and something that feels more grown-up

A SPECIAL EXPERIENCE

Studio Helpers will spend the day alongside our Summer Art Campers (ages 5–10) as helpers, role models, and artists.

HELPING

Supporting younger campers with art projects, materials, and transitions.

Dedicated time to work on Studio Helper–only projects, sketchbooks, and collaborative creative work.

studio HELPERs role

HELPERS WILL

Assist campers with art projects under staff guidance

Help out with materials, setup, cleanup, and organization

Support transitions read stories, help with games, and

Make art with their own special art projects guided by our Studio Manager

Participate in short reflection moments with staff to build leadership and develop responsibility

❌ helpers Won’t

For safety Studio Helpers will not

✖ Supervise children on their own

✖ Discipline campers

✖ Help with bathroom needs or give personal care to campers

✖ Lead activities independently

✖ Count as staff for supervision ratios

Time: 9:00am–3:00pm Monday–Friday
Aftercare: Not offered
Total weekly capacity: 2 Studio Helpers
Fees: $325 / week (50% off full camp tuition)
